Open again! – Programmes for your summer holiday

If you plan to spend your holiday in the Lövér Hills of Sopron with your significant other, your children or grandchildren, be sure to include some excursions, cultural or entertainment programme in your stay.

Hotel Lövér will serve as a perfect base with comfort and culinary delights. It also has a wellness island and a scenic park that offer an excellent opportunity to relax before and after the daily excursions. What about our favourite programme venues? In this article, we highlighted the options that are available again in Sopron and the surrounding area:

Forest programmes near Hotel Lövér

The forest is always open! No matter what happens, nothing can stop you from trekking in the forest and taking excursions to the lookout points. Discover the beauty of the Várisi Walking Tour, the Ciklámen Educational Path, the Károly or the Sörházdombi Lookout Points! Led by Viktor Sáros, the hotel’s guided tours are available again. Be sure to follow the daily programme announcements and sign up for the forest adventures.

Check out the special forest adventure park built recently behind the bus station, just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel! Located on an area of nearly 6000 square metres, Lővér Alpin Adventure Park welcomes children with exciting skills development and agility games in a wonderful forest setting. In addition to the standard swings, ping-pong tables, slides and sandpits, the park offers a wood-covered agility and skills development course with wooden balance and motion control games as well as a Mini Bike park and a road safety course. The Alpin Park is open in the daytime, entry is free.

Lövér Adventure Park is open again, too! The establishment welcomes the enthusiasts of challenging ropes courses between 10.00 and 19.00 in July and August. Of course, opening hours also subject to the weather. Sanitation and hygiene measures are complied with.

If you walk to the side of the road bend at the rehabilitation asylum, you can hop on the sightseeing narrow-gauge railway, which is a great experience for children and adults alike. The popular vehicle winds around in Sopron for nearly an hour, you can read the schedule on the notice board at the station.

Showing up their key cards, Hotel Lövér’s guests can use the services of the summer toboggan run for HUF 300. You can take a toboggan ride in a magnificent green area, the course is open every day from 10.00 to 19.00.

If you register in advance, you can enjoy the tasting programme of Harrer Chocolate Manufacture at 10.00 and 14.00 Monday through Saturday, and at 10.00 on Sunday. The confectionery is certainly worth a visit, all your sensory organs will be pampered by the special cakes, creams, cookies and chocolate creations.

Popular excursion destinations in the Sopron area

Under strict safety measures with prior registration and a limited number of visitors, the popular Family Park has reopened as well. It will be open until 31 August, from 10.00 to 19.00 every day. Just like before, our hotel still offers a discount of HUF 3000 on tickets for children between the ages of 3 and 12. You mustn’t leave without trying the Family Park experience!

Lake Fertő boat cruises start again We highly recommend the Ruszti Adventure Programme on Saturdays, or the standard boat cruises starting four times a day. The Drescher Fleet requires prior registration for each programme. The cruises start from and return to the Fertőrákos port. Experience the special atmosphere of Lake Fertő!
